Join OMC for the second annual luncheon to benefit the Byrde's Dancers Scholarship Fund, an effort in memory of Susan Lipsey's mother that brings cultural enrichment opportunities to children in need. We hope you will join us in cultivating Byrde’s Dancers, as we endeavor to bring this incredible opportunity to as many underserved families as possible in 2018-2019.

Byrde's Dancers Scholarship Luncheon takes place Wednesday, August 22 from noon until 1 pm at Juban's Restaurant (2729 Perkins Road).

Honorary guests and speakers are Gwen Hamilton and Whitney Vann.

ABOUT THE FUND:

Of Moving Colors Productions is pleased to invite you to the second annual Byrde's Dancers Scholarship Luncheon, an effort that brings life-changing arts opportunities to children in need.

Each year, OMC presents Kick It Out, a community outreach project that involves 75-100 children from all around our city. The project is a large one, encompassing four months of dance classes, learning under professional dancers, and performing onstage alongside them in a stunning production. Around half of these children are only able to participate in Kick It Out through the assistance of scholarships.

In 2016, Susan Lipsey and her family established Byrde's Dancers Scholarship Fund, in memory of Susan’s mother, to give children of all backgrounds the opportunity to experience the joy of dancing and performing. Expanding the donor base for this fund is one of OMC's greatest goals. We hope you will join us in cultivating Byrde’s Dancers, as we endeavor to bring this incredible opportunity to as many underserved families as possible in 2019.
