Panelists Kevin McQuarn (Owner of the Robin Hood Bar Juke Joint), Kathe Hambrick (Director of Interpretation and Curator for the West Baton Rouge Museum’s Sugar Shack Juke Joint), award winning blues performer April "Sexy Red" Jackson, and facilitator Maxine Crump (Executive Director of Dialogue on Race Louisiana), will discuss “How Juke Joint Shaped the Blues.”
Following the lecture, join us in the Rose Garden for signature cocktails, appetizers and the Blues Piano tunes of legendary Henry.
