About This Event
Participating authors will read from their published works, and discuss their creative processes. Features include an art show and competition of literature-inspired artworks, book sales, a catered luncheon, and ample opportunities to interact with participating authors while rubbing shoulders with fellow interested (and interesting) readers and writers.
2025 Featured Speakers include:
- Jennifer Moorhead: Broken Bayou
- Liz Talley, author of over 30 books including Hanging by a Thread and If the Dress Fits
- Rachel M. Marsh: author of middle grade novel Rougarou Magic
- Benjamin J. Harbert: author of Instrument of the State: a century of music in Louisiana's Angola Prison
- Ed Ruzicka: poet and author of several collections including Squalls
