FAQs
What is the recommended attire?
Dress in your finest formal attire or show up in your best vacation-inspired costume to go with the theme. For costuming, we welcome everything from tropical resort glam and beachy elegance to world-traveler chic, cruise-ship sparkle, and tourist-in-style looks.
Will there be dinner?
Yes! Your ticket includes a buffet dinner and deserts! Alcohol may be purchasable at the bar: $5 Beer, $8 High Noon, $10 Wine and $10 Liquor.
If I do not purchase a table, where can I sit down to eat?
There will be unreserved seating and high top tables open for those with individual tickets.
Can I reserve a table for my group/Krewe?
Tables are limited and will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. Tables can be reserved by clicking the "Tickets" button above, then selecting whether you would like a 10 person table as opposed to an individual ticket. A purchase of a table will automatically enter you into the table decorating contest, where there will be a prize awarded!
What about the Table Decorating Contest?
A purchase of a table includes automatic entry into the table decorating contest, the winner of which will receive gift card prizes! Table purchasers may begin decorating their table(s) at 1:00 p.m. on the day of the Ball. Your reserved table will be marked with your name or Krewe name.
Please follow these decorating rules:
- No decorating before 1:00 p.m.
- All decorations must be removed immediately after the Ball
- No access to power outlets — bring battery packs if needed
- No glitter, helium balloons, confetti, fog machines, or loose feathers
Where can I park?
There is ample parking (paid) in the garage on the corner of 3rd Street and Convention Street (across the street from the Watermark Hotel).
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No. However, our bar will require an ID to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
Are there special room rates available at the hotel for the event?
No. However, there are several hotels in the surrounding area. Be safe and reserve a room in walking distance to fully enjoy your night of dancing.
Are there any accessibility considerations for those with mobility problems?
There is a half flight of stairs to enter the venue. The ball room is on the second floor, which can be reached by stairs or elevator.
