10/26 WEATHER UPDATE: Due to ongoing widespread power outages in Covington, Nightmare on Columbia will take place on the scheduled rain date of Sunday, October 27. The event will take place ONE hour earlier: Cup Pickup: 3-5PM Stroll: 4-6PM Costume Contest: 6-7PM Concert: 7-8:30PM ------------------------------------------------------ The Covington Business Association will host the inaugural Nightmare on Columbia Stroll & Costume Contest, presented by Resource Bank, in Downtown Covington on Saturday, Oct. 26 (Rain Date: Oct. 27)! Costumes and revelry will abound as patrons fill the streets of Downtown Covington strolling from business to business to sample a variety of craft cocktails and craft beers!

Patrons will be able to vote for their favorite craft cocktail and favorite craft beer. Live music/entertainment will take place in the streets and at local establishments. Stroll tickets are $25, and include optional entry into the costume contest, where cash prizes will be awarded for best single costume (1 person) and best group costume (2+ people). The evening will conclude with a FREE public concert at the Covington Trailhead, presented by The CBD Shop, featuring Tyler Kinchen & The Right Pieces!


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

  • 4-6PM: Stroll and costume contest registration/cup pickup at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire St.
  • 5-7PM: Sip N Stroll on Columbia Street ($25; must be 21 or older)
  • 7-8PM: Costume contest with cash prizes at the Covington Trailhead (all participants must be ticketed stroll patrons to compete in the contest)
  • 8-9:30PM: FREE Public Concert at the Covington Trailhead ft. Tyler Kinchen & The Right Pieces; food, beer and wine will be available for purchase during the concert


***IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE STROLL***

No patron can pick up anyone else's stroll cup, as everyone must show their photo ID. All participants must be at least 21 years old. Check-in to pick up your cup will be from 4-6PM at the Covington Trailhead. Please note that in order to pick up your cup, each patron must present their e-ticket or printed ticket AND photo ID. Nightmare on Columbia will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the event will take place on Sunday, October 27. Tickets are non-refundable.
