At the height of fall, the inaugural St. Francisville Food & Wine Festival brings the brightest lights in the region’s culinary, musical, and cultural scene to the beautiful grounds of The Myrtles Plantation.
Featuring signature dishes served small plate-style, from acclaimed chefs Will Avelar of Mawi Tortillas, New Orleans, LA; Regina Charboneau of Regina’s Kitchen, Natchez, MS; Ryan Andre of Soji Modern Asian, Baton Rouge, LA; Bonnie Breaux of Café Sydnie Mae, Breaux Bridge, LA; and Daniel Dreher of Restaurant 1796 at The Myrtles,the festival format lets visitors visit chefs’ stations arrayed around The Myrtles’ beautiful grounds, enjoying creative small plates paired with craft cocktails, and fine wines selected by Louisiana wine merchants Artisan Fine Wines and Uncorked Fine Wines & Spirits .
Alongside featured chefs’ stations, the St. Francisville Food & Wine Festival is proud to be showcasing a cheese and charcuterie station by 3Tails Wine & Cheese of Baton Rouge, LA; a Louisiana oyster bar presented by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board , and a menu of creative cocktails showcasing unique spirits by New Orleans’ own Seven Three Distilling Company. Between the dishes and drinks, festival goers will get to explore The Myrtles property inside and out, test their aim at an all-day boccé competition , and hear concerts by live Louisiana bands including the legendary Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys.
