The Natchez Festival of Music presents Stephen Sondheim's "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" on Saturday, May 18 at Natchez City Auditorium.

"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" is a fast-paced musical comedy that promises to have you rolling on the floor. The show takes elements from the ancient comedies of Plautus and delivers them in a vaudevillian style. Pseudolus, a Roman slave, plots to win the heart of the beautiful Phelia for his young master, Hero. In exchange, his master will grant Pseudolus his freedom forever more; however, chaos ensues with hilarious schemes, cases of mistaken identity, and complicated twists and turns along the way. You don’t want to miss this performance of one of the funniest musical productions ever to take the stage!

Cash bar opens at 6 pm, show starts at 7 pm. Discounts for students K-12, college and active Military with valid ID.
