We invite you to become a member of Louisiana Federation of Democratic Women and work with us to empower Democratic women across Louisiana. We offer the following classes of membership:

• Individual Membership ($25 per year): Full voting membership. Individual membership shall be granted to those individuals who live in a Louisiana parish and pay individual dues to LFDW and/or NFDW (Note: This does not include membership in NFDW). Each individual member paying dues to LFDW, shall have one (1) vote.
• Associates' Membership ($25 per year): Non-voting membership. Associate membership shall be granted to men and any others who wish to affiliate and pay individual dues to the LFDW and/or NFDW (Note: This does not include membership in NFDW). An Associate member is not eligible for office at the local, regional, state, or national level. An associate member shall not vote.
• Lifetime Membership (Purchase prior to 5/19/2022 LFDW Bylaws adoption): Full voting membership. Lifetime membership is valid for life and receives the same benefits as an individual membership. The lifetime membership class is no longer offered per the LFDW Bylaws adoption effective 5/19/2022. However, LFDW will continue to honor lifetime memberships purchased prior to the 5/19/2022 LFDW Bylaws adoption provided that the lifetime member continues to meet the qualifications of individual membership. Lifetime memberships are subject to verification. Lifetime members must renew their membership annually by the indicated deadlines even though there is no fee. Each lifetime member shall have one (1) vote.
• Club Membership ($100 per year): Full voting membership. Club Memberships are those that have a parish Democratic Women's organization, and which pay Club dues to LFDW. Clubs shall have one (1) vote.
• College Club Membership ($25 per year): Full voting membership. Club Membership shall also be granted to college groups that want to join LFDW. Clubs shall have one (1) vote.
• Provisional Club Membership ($25 per year): Non-voting membership. Provisional clubs are those organizations that have not met the requirements of the LFDW, but which pay dues to the LFDW. The LFDW Executive board will work cooperatively with these prospective clubs. A Provisional Club shall not vote.

Please note: Per LFDW Bylaws, dues for all classes of membership shall be paid (postmarked) no later than 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting. Membership in arrears shall have no vote. A LFDW member in good standing is one who has paid (postmarked) their dues to LFDW no later than 30 days prior to the annual meeting.
