Join us on Saturday, February 7 for Friends of LPB’s Antiques Appraisal Event, a day dedicated to uncovering the stories and value behind your treasured items. Attendees are invited to bring their antiques, heirlooms, and collectibles for evaluation by knowledgeable experts in the field. In addition to the appraisals, guests can enjoy an antique-themed seminar offering insights into the fascinating world of antiques. Whether you’re a collector or simply curious, it’s a fun and informative event!

Antiques & Design Seminar with Rebecca Vizard and Laura Roland - 12:00 PM
Join Rebecca Vizard of B. Viz Design and Laura Roland of Fireside Antiques for an engaging 12:00 PM seminar on antiques and their role in creating beautiful interiors. Rebecca, a renowned textile artist and designer, and Laura, a third-generation owner of her family’s European antique shop, will share their expertise, insights, and stories from working with collectors and designers nationwide. Attendees will gain tips on identifying, appreciating, and incorporating antiques into their own spaces.
Ticket Levels:
$75 – General Admission Ticket
Includes appraisal of two items.
$125 – VIP Ticket
Includes appraisal of three items, skip-the-line access, and reserved seating for the seminar.
Entry & Tickets
- A valid ticket is required to enter the event.
- All tickets are nonrefundable.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Safety & Security
- Firearms of any kind—including antique firearms—are not permitted. This applies regardless of local, state, or federal laws. Do not bring firearms or ammunition under any circumstances.
- Swords, knives, or other sharp items must be securely sheathed or wrapped.
- By entering the event, you consent to a security search.
Appraisal Guidelines
- A “collection” of closely related items may count as one item, at the appraiser’s discretion. If your collection is not accepted as one item, you will be asked to select the allowed number of individual pieces.
- Supporting documents (photos, notes, legal papers) are encouraged and may help appraisers provide more context.
- Items not appraised: vehicles, stamps, stock certificates, paper currency, coins, bicycles, fossils.
- Items not allowed: glass fire extinguishers, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, hazardous or illegal materials.
- Friends of LPB reserves the right to refuse appraisal of any item at its sole discretion.
Buying & Selling
- Buying, selling, or making offers on any items is not allowed at the event.
Item Transport
- Ticket holders are responsible for transporting and handling their own items.
- You may bring a cart or dolly (non-metal wheels only).
- Items must be able to fit through a standard doorway.
Seating & Accessibility
- Seating is limited. You may bring a lightweight portable chair or wheelchair if needed.
- Please do not move the provided chairs.
Appraisal Format
- Appraisers will provide verbal approximations of value only.
- No written appraisals will be provided.
