Preserve Louisiana at the Old Governor's Mansion offers award winning programming to our members and the public through monthly Heritage Lectures and quarterly Lagniappe Lectures.
Heritage Lectures focus on our mission of cultural and architectural preservation, ranging from exploring the rich cultural history of Louisiana traditions to the preservation of the impressive array of architectural styles found across our state. Lagniappe Lectures present the same educational and engaging content, but with a "little extra" in the way of entertainment, complimentary cuisine and libations, performances, and more.
Heritage Lectures are free for members, along with a discount to Lagniappe Lectures, and non-members are generally $10 - $20.
Thanks to funding for Louisiana Culture Care Fund grants provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and administered by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities (LEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan, Preserve Louisiana now offers live streaming for our programming, free for members and $5 for nonmembers. These archived live recorded lectures and events are now available with the purchase of a ticket.
