The Natchez Festival of Music is celebrating Woodstock's Golden Anniversary with a tribute concert to the iconic festival's 1969 lineup on May 10 at the Natchez City Auditorium.
The Natchez Festival of Music proudly presents A Day of Peace and Music: A Woodstock Golden Anniversary Celebration. Come hear the music of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and many other artists whose names are burned into the pages of musical history because of their iconic performances at Woodstock in 1969. Originally billed as “Three Days of Peace & Music,” the Woodstock Festival was truly a one-of-a-kind experience! More than half a million people came to see 32+ acts that performed during that weekend. Come relive this turning point in American music history.
Doors open at 6 pm at the Natchez City Auditorium. Show starts at 7 pm.
