Jazz fusion sextet Noruz will play a concert at Baton Rouge's Chorum Hall on March 21. Noruz was formed in 2013 by bassist Amina Michele Scott and trumpeter Cyrus Nabipoor, with Influence and inspiration drawn from heavyweights such as, the Headhunters, Miles Davis’ Electric Band and modern giants, Snarky Puppy and the Robert Glasper Experiment.

Equally adept in the studio as on the stage, NORUZ released their debut full-length record, The Witching Hour, on May 11, 2018.
