Bassist and bandleader Peter Harris has spent years cultivating some of the deepest musical relationships in New Orleans jazz — and for one special evening, he's bringing his all-star crew to Baton Rouge.
This is a band of heavy hitters. Ashlin Parker on trumpet, Julian Lee on tenor saxophone, Seth Finch on piano, and Nygel Anderson on drums — each a respected voice in the New Orleans jazz community. Together they bring the loose, swinging electricity of a late-night club set, the kind where conversation stops and the music takes over.
Expect improvisation, interplay, and the unmistakable feeling of musicians who trust each other completely. This is New Orleans jazz at its most alive, brought straight to downtown Baton Rouge for one unforgettable night.

Established in 1973 through efforts led by the Junior League of Baton Rouge, the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge (ACGBR) endeavors to promote cultural growth, economic development, and educational enhancement through the arts in and around the 10-parish region it serves. Those parishes include Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupée, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, West Feliciana, and West Baton Rouge.
