The 2nd Annual Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival is two days of fun for the whole family. The event features multiple bands, solo artists and duos, a Vendor’s Village, ‘Taste of Louisiana’ platters and festival food favorites. The judged Soul Food Cooking Competition categories are Meats and Poultry, Vegetables and Side Dishes, Appetizers and Soups, Breads and Desserts.
Headliners are Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor and American bluesman Kenny Neal.
Additional local acts include The Listening Room All-Stars featuring ‘Nspire, Wyanda Paul, Lee Tyme, Larry “LZ” Dillon and Uncle Chess, as well as SmokeHouse Porter and Miss Mamie. Regional acts include Lilli Lewis, Mr. Bow Bow Bow, Undeniably Genuine, Soul & Parliament and Proph3t, among others.
