Join us and our friends at Forum 35, The Baton Rouge Blues Foundation and Dialogue on Race Louisiana for our Blues Lagniappe! A panel will be held to discuss the history of the Blues in Louisiana, specifically it’s roots in race dynamics during the time of its origin. Panelists include: Joyce Jackson Blues Historian, artists Lil Jimmy Reed and Harvey Knox, and facilitator Maxine Crump, Executive Director of Dialogue on Race Louisiana. Following the lecture, join us in the Rose Garden to enjoy signature cocktails and the tunes of Harvey Knox & Friends.
