The official Books Along The Teche Literary Festival returns for a sixth year, offering trips, tours, and social and culinary events, all devoted to exploring the realms of literary history, culture, and cuisine—in the beautiful historic district of New Iberia. Among the ticketed events included in this year's festival is the Great Southern Writer Symposium featuring guest speaker, Osha Davidson.
An author, freelance writer, photographer, and podcaster, Osha Gray Davidson will talk about the difficulties and joys of writing “The Best of Enemies.” He’ll also discuss the surreal experience of watching a Hollywood film adaption take shape, and he’ll say a few words about his latest project: producing a podcast that discusses the issue of reparations for slavery.
