The Henry Turner Day Presents A Taste of the Deep South Festival takes place at Riverfront Plaza on November 6 and 7 from 12 noon to 8pm.
The festival has a Vendor’s Village with arts and crafts, clothing and jewelry and a Food Court with international southern food favorites. It is family friendly and free to the public.
VIP tickets for 2 include 4 food and 4 non-alcoholic drinks, 2 T-shirts, a NOW CD by Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor, a gift certificate to Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room, access to the VIP seating area and Photo OPs .

Talent to date includes Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor and the Listening Room All-Stars, spoken word artist Kelton ‘Nspire Harper, blues/gospel singer/songwriter Larry “LZ” Dillion, guitarist and singer/songwriter Owen Scott, gospel/R&B artist Pastor Leon Hitchens and comedian Eddie “Cool” Deemer. Also joining them is poet Sir AP and Queen Z’s African Dance Troupe, along with reggae artist Dakeye. Other talent expected includes Cuban world music artist Oski and Latina torch singer Jessi Campo from Miami. More acts will be announced shortly.
