About This Event
Our buddy JD Simo had to postpone his show with us for a later date, but the show must go on! We called on the great Johnny Sansone to take his place. Johnny has been playing the BLUES for decades in NOLA and beyond representing Louisiana's rich musical culture. Sansone plays the guitar, accordion, and he is considered one of the best Harmonica players on earth. He has enlisted the great Louisiana guitar hero John Fohl to join him for this special show & we haven't forgotten about our good friends Stud Ford & Will Coppage from the Mississippi Delta to kick things off.. this duo will knock your socks off with their take on traditional Delta Blues classics and their modern way of incorporating hip hop beats, rhymes, and repetition into the Blues tradition. Stud Ford has been playing drums since he was 6 years old, backing up his grandfather - the legendary T-Model Ford join us for this incredible evening of regional music and culture! Both bands will be doing full sets!
Doors at 6, music starts at 7:30.
