Louisiana Words is making their way back to CHB Lafayette on Friday, July 3 at 4:30 p.m.!
Louisiana Words (LouisianaWords.com) is a LGBTQIA+ and free marketing platform that promotes writers who live or who have lived in Louisiana. We are here to be a creative outlet that helps uplift and inspire each other. We promote creativity over violence. We accept poetry, fiction, or memoirs! No politically-motivated content will be accepted. We love receiving writing from new or seasoned writers!
Join Gabi Miller, Laura Gary, Ted A. Richard, J. Michael Norris, and Louis Toliver Jr as they read from their local works. We also will have an open mic for anyone who attends the show and has the passion to read any of their work. If you are interested in doing an open mic, all you have to do is show up! Please keep in mind the content of your work as this reading will be within the bookstore's family-friendly hours.
