About This Event

As we head down the Zydeco Cajun Prairie trail, we will explore the Grand Opera House, the Historic Moto Co./City Hall, the Historic Rice Theatre and lunch at Kelly's Landing in Crowley. Next we will stop in the quaint town of Churchpoint to see the La Veiux Presbetere before a visit at the Little Cajun Saint grave in Richard and a stop at the Sew What Cajun Mardi Gras shop in Branch. The Royer's will welcome us to their historic Maison Daboval House in Rayne followed by a tour of Meryn Kahn's, the world famous frog murals and the only graveyard in the U.S. where the graves are laid out north to south. We will experience the German Heritage Museum as well as Mouton’s Music Store where French accordians are built with a little lagniappe as Greg Mouton and some of his Cajun musician students perform for us..Our taste of Acadia will include lunch at Chef Roy’s Frog City Cafe and Kelly’s Landing with our dinners in Lafayette at Prejean’s Cajun Restaurant featuring Cajun Music on Friday night and Ruffino’s on the River Saturday evening while enjoying the Meanwhile, Back at Cafe Du Monde… live show with local foodies. Don’t miss out on this adventure full of Louisiana history, cuisine and fun in Acadia Parish, USA!

Doubles: $1,240.00 Singles: $750.00

Pricing includes all tours, hotel room for two nights at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Lafayette, all meals including glass of wine or beer with dinners, bus transportation, snacks and bottled water.
