About This Event
Taverns were more than watering holes during the American Revolution—they were hubs of debate, dissent, and dreams of liberty. Join us for a rowdy, spirited celebration as we revive the raucous bar songs that echoed through colonial taverns—reimagined for today. Experience the soundtrack of revolution, reinterpreted with a modern twist, and step into the soundscape that inspired the founding of a nation.

Themed, “Stories of American Freedom" this year's Natchez Literary & Cinema Celebration will weave a diverse tapestry of the stories that make us who we are as Americans today. These are stories of hope and resilience, stories of perseverance and bravery, stories of ordinary people who took a stand and fought hard for the freedoms that we enjoy today. Join us as we spotlight authors from across the South and beyond who capture the complexity of American freedom—its struggles, triumphs, contradictions, and hopes for the future.
