About This Event

Natchez: The Center of the Universe

Occupying an entire city block in historic downtown Natchez, Stanton Hall is one of the most magnificent Greek Revival homes in America. Save The Hall Ball is the finest time to experience this extraordinary property, the annual fundraiser hosted by the Pilgrimage Historical Association for the benefit of National Historic Landmark properties Stanton Hall and Longwood. This spring, Save the Hall Ball returns on Saturday, March 21st, celebrating the theme "Natchez: The Center of the Universe." The glittering black-tie event will welcome guests with open bars, hors d’oeuvres, a late-night supper, and a dynamic dance band.

A highlight of Save the Hall Ball is always this evening's elaborate silent and live auctions. Past auctions have featured trips to Las Catalinas in Guanacaste, Costa Rica; a Hamptons retreat at Bridgehampton, New York; and stays at condos in Orange Beach, Alabama, and Deer Valley, Utah. Other unique auction items include a wine and cheese party for ten at Hal Garner at Nest, brunch and mimosas for twelve at Lansdowne Plantation, and a pool party for ten at The Burn with champagne and supper. Check us out on Facebook and Instagram for complete lists of silent auction items.

About the Pilgrimage Historical Association

The Pilgrimage Historical Association is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that supports ongoing capital improvements at Stanton Hall and Longwood. Significant projects include repairs to the roof and masonry structure at Stanton Hall, the cedar shake roof on the dependency at Longwood, the roof and dome of Longwood, and a new fire suppression system at Longwood. Stanton Hall was purchased by the Pilgrimage Garden Club in 1938. Longwood was donated to the Club and the land purchased in 1970. The Pilgrimage Historical Association was founded that same year to encourage donations and gifts to support the ongoing restoration projects for these premier properties of Natchez tourism.

The theme for this year’s ball, Natchez: The Center of the Universe, celebrates the service work performed by generations of Natchezians to preserve, maintain, and operate these properties and the fun that we have in the process. We hope you will gather your friends and join us for another great Natchez party.
