About This Event
We carry the energy and insight of Swamp Sounds: Echoes of Music and Dance Traditions in Louisiana into an unforgettable evening celebration. Following the presentation moderated by Yvette Landry — with Shane K. Bernard, Herman Fuselier, and photography by Philip Gould — this event brings their stories to life with a showcase inspired by classic swamp pop.
The evening kicks off at 5:30 pm with Cajun dance lessons led by Britlyn Delahoussaye, followed by a Cajun dance competition at approximately 6:45 pm. At the same time, the Grammy-nominated Revelers provide live music starting at 6:30 pm, including a selection of songs in French that honor Louisiana’s rich Francophone heritage.

Food trucks will be on the premises for food purchases, and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.
