About This Event
The Wild Women of Winedale is a joyful, lighthearted Southern comedy by Jones, Hope, and Wooten (creators of The Golden Girls). The play follows a feisty trio of women—two sisters and their quirky sister-in-law—navigating midlife milestones, romantic misadventures, and a hilariously unorthodox plan to clear the clutter from their homes and lives.
Set in Winedale, Virginia, the play features three women facing life changes: Fanny, who struggles with turning 60; Willa, stressed by her job; and Johnnie Faye, a widow looking for a new man and a home after losing hers to a sinkhole. While dealing with an ailing aunt, they aim to declutter their lives through chaotic, humorous methods.
