The best part: All proceeds support the vital work of the West Feliciana Animal Humane Society (WFAHS).

The WFAHS's most important annual fundraiser, the Wags & Whiskers Gala returns after a two-year COVID absence, providing vital funds to support one of the community jewels of West Feliciana Parish—the James L. "Bo" Bryant Animal Shelter.

During the COVID pandemic, the financial hardship experienced by local families led to an unprecedented number of local animals being surrendered to the Animal Shelter in need of care. Consequently, the shelter is currently operating at or beyond capacity, with dedicated staff and volunteers working overtime to provide care and shelter services to the beautiful creatures until new homes can be found for them. Animals that make their way to the shelter are the lucky ones, as they have a second chance at finding a loving Forever-Home through WFAHS.

So please support the vital work of the James L. "Bo" Bryant Animal Shelter by purchasing tickets and/or a donation to the annual Wags & Whiskers Gala. Our sincere thanks go to all the loving parish residents who have stood by us over these last years, providing support in the form of donations, foster homes and other special requests.
