The Friends of the Old Benevolent Society was formed to preserve and restore the Benevolent Society building, which has stood on Ferdinand Street in St. Francisville's historic district since 1883. Help us to allow the next generation to connect to their roots, heritage and culture – a generation who envisions itself as part of the story of the African American people in West Feliciana Parish.
