Beginning at 11am, free to the public, Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home is honoring Louisiana Patriot Guards with A Day of Gratitude (ADOG VI) by Kicking off our Jeeping for our Vets 2025 supporting Blue Star Mothers of LA Chapter 1 Wreaths Across America Fundraiser -

Remote Control Jeep Races for the Kids 5-7 | 8-10| 11-13 and a good time with Jeeps and Jeepers! Registration on site is $1 cash donation to the LA Patriot Guard Riders - Proceeds to benefit BSM LA Chapter 1. Parents Sign Participation, and Hold Harmless Release form.

New this year! Take your family picture at the Pumpkin Patch! Our Greenoaks Staff, will use your camera to take your pic. We will have an Open House, Tour, and Spin it to win it prizes available.
Enjoy the Awards Show, with Special Presentation from our Associate Resource Committee Salute. We will end the day with a 21 gun salute and taps honoring our deceased veterans.

The team at Greenoaks Funeral Home understands the importance of a final tribute that tells a story of a life. Funeral service options have evolved since the business opened in the early 1990s, but our commitment to high standards remains unchanged. Whatever your wishes, we're here to see that they're followed and that every detail is taken care of. Greenoaks Memorial Park cemetery was founded by H.B. Parker in 1949. In 1991, Greenoaks Memorial Park joined the Dignity Memorial® network, the largest network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers in North America. The funeral home was added to the 80-acre property in 1994 to better meet the needs of the Baton Rouge community and the surrounding areas. Greenoaks Life Celebration Reception Center opened on May 21, 2009. The facility was designed to accommodate large receptions as well as community events and gatherings.
